Hi, I am Mini, a qualified Counsellor, a teacher, an advocate for mindfulness, and an encourager of change and recovery. I am the founder of Mini Steps to Wellness, a holistic practice that promotes recovery and change. I have nearly 20 years of experience working with clients affected by trauma, anxiety and depression related to experiences of migration, transition, settlement, recovery and change. I also teach courses in mental health, case management and community services.I care deeply about working with adolescents and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, feelings of social isolation, or just difficulties of feeling stuck, shame, self-doubt, scared, discouraged and confused. I have also worked with NDIS participants. I am currently counselling Aboriginal women in the Barwon region.
Qualifications
• Cert IV in Training and Assessment
• Diploma of Counselling 01/08/2012- AIPC
• Bachelors in Homoepathic Medicine and Surgery
• Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health
• Masters in Yoga teacher training (currently studying)
