I offer counselling to help people work through stress, anxiety, sadness, grief and loss, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship problems, attachment issues and a range of other problems and challenges.I provide support for families and children (from age 3), teenagers, adolescents and parents or carers, as well as counselling for adult females and elders.My approach is client-centred and strengths-based. I believe that within every individual lies a natural drive towards wholeness and authenticity. My role is to help people discover their strengths and a path towards healing.It is important to me to provide a safe therapeutic space that allows people to reconnect with their true selves, heal from pain and trauma, and move towards living more fully. In addition to talk therapy, I can also offer expressive arts where the client can use clay, paint, drawings and music to explore and express emotions, thoughts and feelings.I have been trained locally at the University of the Sunshine Coast (Master of Counselling) and I am registered with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA).Feel free to email or call for more information.
