It takes tremendous courage to commit to counselling and I appreciate that - it's not easy work but it can be rewarding work. Each person's experience is unique. We all deserve the space to be able to connect with another human who is willing to meet us where we are at with compassion and without judgement. It is my intention to hold that space for my clients so that they are able to share their stories without fear, explore themselves (past, present and future), and provide tools and strategies that are aligned with their values, integrity and truth.I use a trauma-informed and client-centered approach which integrates therapeutic modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); Cognitive Behavourial Therapy (CBT); and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to address areas such as: Anxiety, Depression, Grief and Loss, Hoarding, Life Transitions, Moral Injury and Failure, Trauma, Undergrad and Postgrad Student Support, and Unplanned Pregnancy.I look forward to meeting you.
