I have been working as a counsellor since 2019, conducting private practice and working for non-government organisations.
I have worked with individuals and couples, helping them to communicate their needs more effectively to create deeper connectedness and richer relationships.
I have experience helping men understand healthy masculinity and how this can contribute to stronger more fulfilling relationships.
I have worked with adults and youth on developing the skills to alleviate the suffering associated with anxiety and depression.
I have worked with parents to develop the skills to meet the needs of challenging children, despite diagnosis.
I have worked across the lifespan helping clients understand the impact of trauma on mind and body, developing new skills to be more responsive and less reactive.
I have worked with families to help resolve conflict, including work with disengaged youth and their parents.
I have worked with youth and adults to lessen the impact of addiction and episodes of suicidality.
I have helped clients understand diagnosis and develop new skills to manage difficulties including behaviours associated with, BPD, autism, and ADHD.
I have experience using creative arts therapies to support seniors to find passion and engage in new learning and reduce cognitive decline and depression.
I have an eclectic approach to therapy and personally connect with the benefits of acceptance commitment therapy, dialectic behaviour therapy, narrative therapy, mindfulness and cognitive behaviour therapy.
I pride myself on creating a safe, warm and relaxed space to explore and chat about thoughts, feelings, behaviours and experiences.
I can work from my office, in person or online and I’m also happy to travel in my local area to see clients in their homes if this is suitable.
I believe that everyone can learn new skills to feel more positive, improve the quality of their lives and their interactions with others, despite their age or lived experience.
