Rebecca Lewis

Rebecca is a registered NDIS service provider, a registered provider with the National Trauma Support Directory, providing service for the National Redress Scheme and a registered psychotherapist with the ACA. Rebecca has extensive experience in individual counselling, psychotherapy, psycho-education, sexual abuse counselling, trauma focused therapy, parenting and relationships, intake and assessment, as well as family counselling. Rebecca holds a double Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and Counselling Psychology. Rebecca's experience has highly prepared her for a career working with adolescents, individuals, families and groups with specialisations in trauma. Rebecca is well prepared to assist people who are in need of mental health services and crisis interventions. Rebecca offers comprehensive support services to clients from a variety of ethical and cultural backgrounds to meet individual needs. Rebecca has experience in working with domestic violence, basic drug and alcohol problems, extensive trauma and PTSD, depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD and ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Personality Disorders, Attachment Disorder, Conduct Disorder, and Tourette’s Disorder. Rebecca has extensive training and experience in working with children with aggressive and severe behaviours. Rebecca is a trained Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist and have experience in Circle of Security, basic Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and ACES training. Furthermore, Rebecca has valuable experience in research, the implementation, and construction of trauma informed care models. Rebecca has experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Behaviour Modification, Narrative therapy, Client Centred Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Anger Management, Play Therapy, Expressive Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Dialectal Behaviour Therapy, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
