I am a counsellor at The University of Queensland, with a level 3 membership at the Australian Counselling Association, whilst also holding a Master of Counselling and a Bachelor of Psychological Science.
My therapeutic approach is often holistic, allowing me to gather a greater understanding of the individual and the world in which they operate. I am a firm believer in allowing the client to guide each session and working collaboratively with them in creating a support plan that aligns with their goals, needs and values.
Since graduating I have completed additional studies in areas and therapies of interest such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). These therapies allow me to support a wide range of clients with concerns related but not limited to trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stress and relationship issues.
