I have worked for over 25 years in community health advocating for, and empowering people. With a Masters in Counselling, a Diploma in Community Services and Youth Work, and a Degree in Criminology, I bring a range of expertise to my counselling practice. If you are struggling with addiction, anxiety, issues related to trauma or just need a non judgmental ear, I might be the right counsellor for you.I am currently working with a lot of young people who have social anxiety and/or behavioural issues that may have been impacted by COVID-19. My studies in youth work and criminology, as well as my vast experience working in community health, bring a range of experiences working with risk taking behaviours such as substance use, eating disorders, school exclusion, self sabotage and aggression. I have also worked extensively with victims of family violence and have an broad understanding of the justice system in Victoria. I provide a safe and confidential space and can see clients face to face in Elwood, via telehealth or walk and talk, conducting mindfulness sessions on the beach, in the park if this is a preference for the client.
