Do you wish you could be more confident in yourself or your body?Are you constantly worrying about what others think of you?Does your stress/anxiety often overshadow your ability to see the positives in your life?Do you struggle with disordered eating behaviours such as binge/emotional eating?Are you often comparing yourself or your body to others, never feeling 'good enough'?Or maybe you just need someone to really listen with zero judgement, providing support and encouragement while you figure things out and find your feet again.By helping to discover the deeper origins of your problems, working through your limiting beliefs, implementing self-care techniques, and providing support and encouragement, Sami can help you gain a greater sense of self-worth and give you the confidence to show up as the best version of yourself, from the inside out.While Sami specialises in body image and eating issues, she also works with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, binge/emotional over-eating, relationship/friendship issues, stress management, intimacy issues, behaviour change, goal-setting, and confidence coaching.Within her sessions, it’s important to Sami that her clients feel they are in a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere in order to create an encouraging and supportive space for self-exploration, and work towards positive changes in thoughts, feelings and behaviours.Along with herempathetic and client-centred approach, Sami utilises various proven psychotherapy techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solutions Focused Therapy (SFT) to increase each client’s level of self-awareness and autonomy in life, and help them not only create their own path with goals to work towards, but implements actionable steps to help achieve them, too!Formally, Sami is a qualified Counsellor and member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and a Silver-level practitioner for the Australian Centre for Eating Disorders.Sessions are offered online via zoom on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
