Studies: I completed my Bachelor of Behavioural Science (minor in counselling) in 2012; and in 2018 completed my Master in Social Science (Counselling and psychotherapy), doing my final thesis on the history of, and treatment modalities for, minor attracted individuals. In 2024 completed a Graduate Diploma of Psychology through Edith Cowan University. I have also completed training in the following programs: Tuning into Teens, Bringing Up Great Kids, Bringing Up Great Kids After Family Violence, and the SafeCare Program I began my career working for Corrective Services in the Youth Justice division. This role involved writing court reports, supervising young people on community orders, and providing solution focused support.Following this, I worked at headspace Fremantle for over 4 years, providing assessment, short term counselling for those aged 12-25.I spent 2 years with Uniting WA as a Senior Case Worker in the Child and Family therapeutic Service. This service specialises in providing support for families and young people aged 0-18 that have been affected by child sexual abuse.For 2 years I worked at Centrecare on the Reset Parenting team. In this role I worked with parents who are currently incarcerated to improve their parenting and life skills in 1:1 parenting supports. I also facilitated group parenting classes in a prison setting. I am now working as the Senior Mental Health Lead in the Mental Health Advocacy Service at Multicultural Futures. I support individuals from a refugee or migrant background to navigate services, and provide them with mental health support.
