Sarah is a aeclectic integrative psychotherapist who specializes in Alcohol and other Drug Counselling, Grief and Loss Counselling, Gender Dysmorphia Counselling, Gender complexities and relationship counselling. 2023 saw Sarah complete a Masters in counselling with Distinction.Sarah has completed a Bachelor in Applied Social Science (Counselling), and had post grad qualifications in Alcohol and other Drugs, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, mental health first aid and Psychotherapy. Sarah has been working in this industry for over 12 years and as an aeclectic practitioner Sarah uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Solution Focused (SF) and Narrative Therapy (NT) as her main modalities. She takes a holistic approach when working with clients and possess a warm and non-judgmental disposition. For the past 2 year Sarah has been managing a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre working alongside people and their AOD complexities. Sarah is a passionate, person-centered Psychotherapist who strives herself on congruence, empathy and ability to energetically connect with her client group. Sarah is also a dynamic group therapist who sees the ability to treat people with the assistance of their peers. When Sarah is not at work you would find her a the gym, at the beach with her 2 dogs, at yoga or sitting under a tree watching the world go by.2023 will see Sarah continue to grow her private practice, undertake additional post grad studies in Somatic Psychotherapy and will continue to offer Mental health first aid training and clinical supervision training
