Sharron Bonnici is an accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist. Her career has spanned across the private and not for profit sectors. She has extensive experience in working with women and children, women living with domestic violence, people experiencing homelessness, and people impacted by trauma. Sharron is comfortable working with people from cultural diverse backgrounds,and the LGBTQI community.Sharron’s approach is Person Centred, Strength's Based and Trauma Informed. With an interest in human development, Sharron has an innate capacity to compassionately support people through their therapeutic journey. Using a combination of mindful listening, reflective practice and solution focused interventions, Sharron facilitates a person’s capacity for self awareness, which in turn encourages them to build resilience during times of adversity, increase their sense of self worth and sense of self, and explore new possibilities and choices in their lives.Apart from her Bachelor in Counselling and Human Change, Sharron has trained as a Facilitator of The Work (Byron Katie), Tuning Into Kids (Parenting Program), Family Partnership Training and graduated with Distinction Community Services Work NSW. She has been a member of ACA since 2014.
