With over 20 years of experience, Sherine Badawy is a compassionate therapist specialising in relationship and individual counseling. Based in Adelaide, she offers face-to-face sessions locally and virtual sessions Australia-wide,
Sherine holds a BA in Psychology and a Diploma of Counselling and is a member of the Australian Counselling Association (Level Provisional). Her practice is inclusive, supporting individuals, couples, families, and children navigating life’s many challenges. She has a particular focus on non-traditional relationship structures, including Ethical Non-Monogamy (ENM), as well as the LGBTQ2S+ community, creating a safe and welcoming space for people of all backgrounds.
Sherine’s approach is warm, empathetic, and rooted in respect. She is experienced in working with families and children coping with diagnoses, grief, disabilities, and relationship issues, providing a holistic perspective that fosters healing and connection. Sherine integrates somatic-based therapeutic support, helping clients not only understand their emotions but also experience healing on a physical level to promote overall well-being.
She is passionate about supporting clients living with disability as well as those exploring sexuality, intimacy, and personal identity. Sherine works with individuals and couples to improve communication, deepen emotional connections, and find clarity in complex relationship dynamics. She also provides support for separated and single parents, helping families build healthy boundaries and navigate life transitions with resilience.
Sherine’s approach is tailored to meet each person’s unique needs, allowing clients to feel seen, heard, and respected. She is dedicated to empowering clients to embrace their authentic selves, overcome challenges, and develop the tools needed for more fulfilling lives and relationships.
