Simone is a specialist counsellor, working with adolescents, families and parents. She also works with people for general counselling for most other issues, assisting people to lead rich and meaningful lives. Simone has 20 years experience working with a variety of groups in the community in counselling and related roles. She works from a number of different theoretical models to suit the individual but overall her style is deeply based in respect, mindfulness, ACT therapy and solution focused therapy. She also uses the Feedback Informed Treatment approach with all clients to ensure that her counselling service is tailored to meet the individual needs of every client.
As a counsellor, Simone recognizes the strong link between mental and physical health. She works wholistically looking at all aspects of a person's physical and mental health and liaising with other medical providers as appropriate in order to treat the whole person, not just their mental health concern.
