Stephanie Carroll

Stephanie is a practicing counsellor with over ten years of experience working for non-government organisations in a variety of settings, as well as running her own private practice. Her work experience includes roles in Youth and Adult Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drug Counselling and Generalist Youth Counselling and Case Management. She has a particular interest in working with individuals in the areas of anxiety, depression and stress. Stephanie will be present with you and provide a safe, empathic and non-judgemental counselling approach. She has been trained in evidence based therapies including: Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness. Practising from a Trauma informed lense, Stephanie will work collaboratively to assist her clients re-frame problems, strengthen relationships and improve well-being.
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Social Science – Youth Studies. RMIT University
• Master of Social Science – Counselling. Swinburne University
