I am committed to promoting social-emotional wellbeing across the lifespan. My philosophy is encapsulated in the title of my practice - Living Well Regardless. We all experience suffering at some point in our lives. It is inevitable. Despite this, we can live rich and meaningful lives regardless of the depth and breadth of this suffering in our life. This is achieved in part through an understanding of how to develop psychological flexibility. As a counsellor, psychotherapist, and psychoeducator, I provide a client-focused service that tailors counselling to the client, not the client to the counselling. My counselling practice is informed by studies in complex trauma, interpersonal neourobiology, family systems and contexual behavioural science.I am a qualified family therapist and have completed training in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Trauma Therapy, Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Dignity Therapy.
