Tahlya is a clinical ACA level 3 counsellor, working as a senior practitioner in the not-for-profit sector, to support vulnerable families in her community. Tahlya also works in private-practice and specialises in neurocounselling to support:
- the journey of new parents
- people who are struggling with their goals and sense of purpose
- people wanting to improve mental health
Tahlya provides a person-centred, strengths-based, and neuro-informed approach to support and empower her clients. She is accredited in the Clinical Applications of Neuroscience (CAN), is a qualified Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) practitioner, and Functional Family Therapy-Child Welfare (FFT-CW) practitioner. Additionally, she is certified in the First 1000 Days Australia (F1000D) and has completed specialised training from the Centre of Perinatal Excellence. She has also received a specialist certificate in Public Health from the University of Melbourne.
Tahlya facilitates a healing, non-judgmental, and safe space for her clients to feel heard, understood and build a future they love.
