My focus is to provide compassionate and effective
counselling to individuals, couples, children, young people and families from
diverse backgrounds facing various life challenges. I am avid about helping
people resolve day-to-day issues that are affecting their quality of life
either in social settings, relationships/family, work, through mental and
psychological issues.
I have worked in health care for the last 5 years and
gathered much experience in various aspects of community, aged and disabled
care provision, from individual- centred support care to group care, general
domestic duties to the implementation of comprehensive care plans. I have experience supporting clients,
families, advocates, providers, and the community in a professional, courteous
and compassionate manner. With the
personal life experience of being a primary carer for over 30 years for my own
mother who suffered a stroke, I am deeply empathetic and appreciative of what
family and guardians of a person with illness or disability go through mentally and
physically and am able to support them
in their arduous journey.
