Yvonne completed her Diploma of Counselling from the Australian Institute of Professional Counselling in 2010 and continued her tertiary education in the United States obtaining a Master's in Counselling, Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Phoenix in 2013. After 3 years of supervised clinical practice in California, working with adolescents, adults, children, couples, and families struggling with issues of grief, domestic violence, trauma, mood and personality disorders, and relationship and life challenges; she obtained licensing as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California in 2016. During this time, Yvonne also pursued more specialised training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Peer counselling for Victims of Domestic Violence. Yvonne also has accreditations with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and Australian Association of Supervisors (AAOS) and has been supervising counsellors and psychotherapists since 2019. Yvonne offers online counselling.
