Hi. As a counsellor with a background in psychology I work from a pluralistic framework engaging clients in choosing the solutions most suitable to their lives. Enabling families and individuals of all ages when they feel most stretched and distressed. Helping to find new paths and patterns. Developing strengths to sustain change and development.I have diverse interests so whilst running my practice I have worked for The Benevolent Society writing NDIS reports. As well as providing all round support and development groups for families with babies with and without a diagnosed disability. I offer parent coaching, and behaviour management. As well as long and short term stress and anxiety management for all. Support for those suffering from depression, trauma, grief and loss.Special interest in womens issues (first mensus, perinatal, menopause final mensus) and ongoing well being. In the interest of keeping up to date with the latest best evidence practice I am currently working on my Master of Counselling through the University of the Sunshine coast. Enjoying new techniques in Expressive Therapies, updates on Emotion Focussed therapy, Systems and Attachment theory. On the look out for research topics of interest for 2023. From Survive to Thrive through stretching and strengthening mind, body and soul. To discuss options and make a plan for the future: Mobile: 04053177687 Email: zoe.zhm@gmail.com
