The science of the who, what, where, when, why and how of every FABIC poster is discussed, supporting successful implementation in a person’s natural settings and thus maximising opportunities for LASTING behaviour change. Each one of the 53 FABIC posters is a standalone behavioural intervention. It may look like a simple two-dimensional poster, but in reality it comes with a science founded on the FABIC principles of understanding and bringing LASTING behaviour change. To integrate them successfully it is important to understand the science. To support the successful use and integration of these posters in a person’s natural setting/s – their intended use – a client and/or their support team require an understanding of why and how to implement the posters, daily and practically. And this requires an explanation of the science and practicalities that support successful behaviour change strategies via the introduction of the FABIC Posters. We have put together 34 online meetings to cover every single poster that is part of the FABIC Poster Collection.

As is the case for all of us, life presents challenging situations. In this chart our body is represented by the column in the middle, a veritable storage vesselwhere we tend to store, amongst many other things, our experiences of life and reactions to life. This chart is in many ways another example of an I CHOOSE CHART and demonstrates thatwe have two choices in life: OPTION 1 (release the experience from the body and move on)and OPTION 2 (store the experience in the body for release at a later time, thus impacting ourexperience of life until then).OPTION 2 choices are what we at FABIC call the concrete truck, where a person chooses theirunique kind of cement to bury how they feel and are experiencing their current life trigger, thuschoosing to take the body closer to code red.OPTION 1 choices offer a guide to releasing the hurt from the body, thus choosing to take thebody closer to code blue. This chart makes very clear that, as we accumulate life triggers and continue to bury them, ourbody increasingly gets closer and closer to a code red meltdown. If we choose to address and arrest each situation as it occurs, our body remains closer to codeblue and clearer to address what is current in life
