Bullying is understood to be a form of interpersonal aggression, which takes many forms, serves different functions and is manifested in different patterns of relationships. It occurs in multiple situations such as schools, the workplace, and families. In this presentation, Educational Psychologists Lesley Rosenthal and Hennie Vorster will look at understanding this social cruelty, the roles of the different people involved in the bullying process and the role of the parent. Strategies for therapists, teachers and parents on handling bullying and conflict will be shared.
