This 2-day skills-based workshop provides participants with a thorough understanding of the principles and practice of effective clinical supervision. You will learn about the relevant theories and models of supervision and learn how to set up, manage and evaluate both individual and group supervision contexts incorporating best practice standards and reflective practice.The workshop will be delivered via ZOOM interactive videoconferencing using breakout rooms for small group discussion and practice sessions. You must be able to join the workshop using your camera and have sound for class participation. This workshop involves interactive class activities, maximising the learning experience, just as in the classroom. In addition to providing workshops throughout Australia, this program is also available to participants internationally (e.g., Singapore and Hong Kong). This workshop offers up-to-date resources, readings and handouts and all participants receive a Supervision Reference Guide. This course is for those seeking OPD points only. Those seeking to become an ACA Accredited Supervisor need to undertake the ACA-accredited Supervision course offered by Clinical Supervision Services. All course notes are provided electronically, including references, PowerPoint presentations and a Supervision Resources Handbook.
