Learn about the practice of Forest Therapy and its benefits as an adjunct for counselling. You will also experience the benefits for yourself during an immersive 2-hour virtual guided walk by the President of the International Nature and Forest Therapy Alliance (INFTA).
Flexible dates on a weekday or weekend are now available to cater to the growing demand for nature-based interventions for health and wellbeing. The objective of the workshop is to impart knowledge and experiential learning on the Public health practice of Forest Therapy.
The workshop will introduce the history, research and evidence that supports the preventative and therapeutic practice of Forest Therapy. Students will learn about the benefits of incorporating Nature and Forest Therapy into their own wellbeing practices.
This workshop is also suited to anyone aspiring to offer Forest Therapy in their counselling practice. Students will be introduced to the skill set required to support clients in safe outdoor settings.
