Sex Therapy Series: How To Talk About Sex: In A Clinical Setting
Description:
OPD Points: 10
One day course
Whether you are a new practitioner or have decades experience, sex is often a tricky topic to bring up or respond to. Tanya teaches methods that allow easy communication in an open, relaxed way with your clients, patients or even loved ones! Her approach includes holistic influences from client’s lives as well as sitting with the emotions that may come up.
In the words of Shirley MacLaine sex is hardly ever about sex! It’s easy to pathologise dysfunction and treat sexual issues in isolation, yet they very rarely occur separate to people’s lives and relationships. This course will teach you how to see the links and increase the effectiveness of your support to clients around the topics of sex and intimacy.
The How To Talk About Sex workshop is a practical workshop that will be fun and informative and give you new skills to take and use with your clients.
This course is a one-day course offered online via zoom – Tuesdays 10am to 12pm AEST.
