This online module aims to provide participants with a thorough understanding of how to construct and use genograms in assessment and intervention. Genograms are a multigenerational assessment tool for understanding family functioning and family processes. The module consists of 5 self-paced sections and includes video demonstration, practical examples, reflective tasks, readings and a short quiz. The course is suitable for health and welfare professionals who currently or intend to work with families. It is anticipated that the module will take 8-10 hours.Key Learning Objectives / Outcomes:

Presenter Qualifications:
Christine Senediak is the Director of Sydney Family Therapy Training Institute (SFTTI) based in Sydney, Australia, a subsidiary of Clinical Supervision Services. She has over 40 years of experience working as a clinical psychologist, family therapist, educator and supervisor and has worked both in the public and private health systems specializing in working with children, adolescents and their families and specialist Cross Cultural Services and the Children’s Court Clinic. She provides supervision to addiction services, adolescent mental health inpatient and outpatient services, adult mental health and family support services.
Other contributors to the program include, Dr Glenn Larner (Clinical Psychologist) and Andrea Worth (Snr Social Worker), who both have extensive experience working, supervising and teaching family therapy and in child and adolescent mental health services.
