This workshop offers a deepening into the skills of Internal Family Systems from a psychotherapeutic standpoint. This course is exclusively focused on attunement and skill building within the IFS Model, drawing on the research of Interpersonal Neurobiology to understand how best use IFS to be with our clients in ways that feel safe for those with attachment wounding, complex trauma, and other complex presentations such as those diagnosed with psychosis, BPD or other emotional distress.
Course Content: 21 hours of contact time and structured practice groups, video content, and written resources to enhance your learning between sessions.

Deepen your IFS skills with this 14-week online course designed for therapists and practitioners ready to work with complex trauma and highly polarized systems. Learn advanced techniques to support clients who “can’t go inside,” face shame, or exhibit significant protectiveness. Gain insights into working with internal protectors that need time to step back, and systems with significant conflict, including clients with BPD, schizophrenia, eating disorders, addictions, or spiritual bypassing. With 7 live, 3-hour workshops, you’ll explore relational safety, co-regulation, transference, and pre-verbal trauma. Includes practice groups, video demos, and reading resources.

Presenter Qualifications:
Internal Family Systems Therapy – Level 3 Certified
Graduate Certificate of Family Systems Therapy
Certificate in Transactional Analysis (3 years)
Stephanie is a Level 3 Certified IFS Practitioner and psychotherapist working exclusively in the IFS Model. She has extensive supervision and additional training in the IFS Model (above her Level 3 training), including over 100 hours of in person training with Dick Schwartz. Stephanie has also undertaken hundreds of hours of her own personal IFS work with an IFS practitioner and embodies the IFS model from the inside out. This allows Stephanie to provide a nuanced approach to working with clients, which she brings to her training.
