Allied Health Professions Australia (AHPA) is the recognised national voice for allied health professions, working with the Commonwealth Government and other national organisations to provide a collective view for the sector. AHPA advocates for the vital role of allied health professionals to deliver effective, equitable and sustainable services for Australians.

The Climate and Health Alliance’s mission is to build a powerful health sector movement for climate action and sustainable healthcare. We do this through building health leadership, raising public awareness of health impacts of climate change, advocacy for healthy climate policy and making healthcare sustainable.

The National Rural Health Alliance (the Alliance) comprises 51 national organisations committed to improving the health and wellbeing of the 7 million people in rural and remote Australia. Our diverse membership includes representation from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health sector, health professional organisations, health service providers, health educators and students

Suicide Prevention Australia is the national peak body for the suicide prevention sector. We exist to provide a clear, collective voice for suicide prevention, so that together we can save lives. We believe that through collaboration and shared purpose, we can work towards our ambition of a world without suicide.

The International Association for Counselling (IAC) is the world body for the counselling profession. Established in 1966, IAC is an International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO) with United Nations consultative status. Our Vision is: “A world where counselling is available to all”.

For over 25 years Mental Health Australia has advocated for mental health reform, and continues to drive policy changes and proactively put mental health on the agenda. As the national peak for mental health, Mental Health Australia unites the mental health sector to present a cohesive voice to government, and provide practical policy solutions to influence decision-making, which in turn, improves the mental health system and the mental health of people in Australia.

Beyond Blue is an independent, not-for-profit organisation working to reduce the impact of anxiety, depression and suicide in Australia. For more than 20 years, people in Australia have placed their trust in Beyond Blue as a reliable source of mental health information, support, and hope.

LivingWorks has been the leading provider of suicide prevention skills training since 1983. Accredited by clinical and education bodies across Australia and internationally, LivingWorks is the creator of the only suicide first aid course recognised by the World Health Organisation, ‘LivingWorks ASIST’. In Australia alone, LivingWorks has trained more than 1,000,000 people in workplaces and communities to have the skills and confidence to intervene and help someone with thoughts of suicide to keep safe, access support and find hope.

Our role is to drive reform of the mental health, alcohol and other drugs and suicide prevention systems in Queensland. We identify issues and priorities, advise on reform options, support the efforts of others to implement change, and check progress. To achieve reform we work in partnership with others. This includes people who have lived experience, their families, carers and supporters, as well as decision-makers, funders, advocates, frontline workers and service providers, in both government and non-government sectors.
