Shape the Future of Rural Healthcare: 2024 Victorian Rural Health Workforce Census

Help shape the future of healthcare in Victoria by participating in the 10-minute 2024 Victorian Rural Health Workforce Census, led by the Rural Workforce Agency Victoria (RWAV). This census is crucial for understanding the unique needs of rural, regional, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and for creating sustainable health workforce solutions.

Your involvement is crucial to:

  1. Understand current workforce needs, and to enable quality healthcare services in rural and remote Victoria
  2. Direct health workforce support resources, including grants and incentives
  3. Guide advocacy efforts for rural, remote and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Victoria

The insights collected from this census will play a pivotal role in shaping the Health Workforce Needs Assessment. These findings will help us understand both short and long-term rural health workforce needs, gauge health practitioners’ intentions for upskilling, and create sustainable solutions to address the challenges faced by the health workforce in rural areas and among Victorian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Contribute to this vital initiative and encourage your colleagues to participate!

Please email data@rwav.com.au with the subject “Census Help” if you have any questions.
