I'm an experienced Counsellor and Supervisor, having done over 1,000 hours of client work and qualified with a Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. My aim is to walk with you as my client, providing a safe space of reflection and deepening of understanding of self and enabling you to achieve the movement and transition you seek. It could be you want to change patterns of behaviour around things like addiction, depression or anxiety .. you may want to change the way you are in relationship to others ... you may be struggling to sit with grief .. you may be wanting to grow your ability to hold boundaries and be assertive ... Whatever brings you to counselling, I'll listen to you non-judgementally and provide a sense of connection and safety. I flex my approach to your needs and, as well as talking therapy, offer creative ways of working such as family constellations and art therapy (fully trained in both). I've a really diverse background - in addition to my therapy work, over the years I've been a volunteer Crisis Supporter for Lifeline and a leader in both non profit and corporate organisations and I'm currently a Family Program Therapist at South Pacific Private Treatment Centre. ... I pride myself on being able to support you wherever you're at, in a totally non-judgemental way. Give me a call if you feel drawn for an initial chat so you can see if you feel a fit.
