Amanda is a highly skilled clinical psychotherapist and registered Clinical Supervisor, with a special expertise in trauma informed practice and sexological disorders. Practising for over 16 years, she has worked with countless individuals and couples to safely recover and heal from their trauma, intimacy, relationship, and sexual health and functioning concerns, moving towards an empowered place of post traumatic growth, and meaning.Amanda has an extensive qualification including a Bachelor in Psychotherapy & Counselling, Masters in Sexology and Sexual Health and further degrees in teaching and clinical supervision. Her teaching and academic profile includes lecturing for over ten years in Psycho-sexual health (Sexology) at the University of Sydney, and previously worked as a Lecturer at The Australian College of Applied Psychology (Masters in Psychotherapy – Trauma and Grief).Amanda supports clients with a variety of issues including coping with traumatic events, relationship and intimacy issues, sexual pain and discomfort disorders, anxiety, depression, mental health, grief and loss and transitional life changes.
