I enjoy supporting teens, adults and couples, specializing is supporting those who want to include or consider their Christian faith in their counselling support.

I integrate a client's faith with recognized counselling techniques and modalities that align with biblical principles. I tailor the approach to the needs of each individual, to support healing from the past, tools to help with present struggles, and clarify future goals. I draw on a range of modalities such as CBT (thinking, behaviour), ACT (choices, emotions), Solution focused, Psychodynamic Therapy (Past affecting present), Stress management, Smarter Goal setting, Strengths Approach, Boundary setting, Conflict resolution, Assertiveness training, Communication Skills, Gottman Couples therapy, Grief therapy, etc.

What will counselling be like?
I provide confidential, professional support in a relaxing space to enable you to talk through feelings, experiences, and challenges. My role is to journey with you to explore issues, gain insight, clarify goals, and provide tools to move forward. Family, mental, physical, social, spiritual and emotional factors that may be influencing your wellbeing are considered. Together we will make a clear goal for therapy so we can check we are progressing towards what you want out of your time in counselling. I often give handouts to take home.

As a Christian counsellor, I feel called to support the healing God wants to do, often in areas of pain that are holding His people back. I want to encourage, build and strengthen those I work with to walk in freedom and the fullness of God's love.
