Chris is a registered Art Therapist (AThR), Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Play Therapist and Counsellor. As the founder and principal practitioner of Storm Insight she has an extensive history of supporting others in their personal journeys. She has over 35 years experience including group work, counselling and case management in such areas as youth work, education, housing, justice, parenting, family therapy and family violence. Chris now includes individual clients on an appointment basis, where she invites people to engage with her service to work through challenges in their lives. Using counselling and Sensorimotor Art Therapy techniques combined with Somatic Experiencing, she supports others using various modalities for working on issues that relate to past traumatic and adverse experiences and exploring options and possibilities. She is also available to support those working in the community services sector seeking external/professional clinical supervision. Chris is a Faculty Member of the Institute for Sensorimotor Art Therapy and a registered supervisor with ANZACATA making her also available for supervision for Arts Therapists and those that include Arts Therapy as part of their counselling practice.
