A lot of my clients tell me that this is the first time they've been able to connect with a counsellor.  If you have tried lots of other counsellors or psychologist before and haven't find the right fit, please reach out.  Having the right counsellor is really important. When you have a counsellor that you can connect with and feel safe with it helps to build a positive relationship. This is important because this has a direct impact on achieving positive outcomes for you. Whilst I work with a range of different people, I primarily worth with Autistic and ADHD adults or couples where at least one person is Autistic/ADHD.  I also work with people who have experienced trauma.Additionally, I offer parent coaching for parents of Autistic children.  I offer both in-home counselling (in Canberra/Queanbeyan) and zoom counselling.   My approachClient centred – I respect that you are the expert on youStrength based – I want to work with your own unique strengths to help youEvidence based – using counselling theories innovatively to tailor a solution specific to youTrauma & neurodiverse aware – I will respect your experiences and neurodiversity Open, honest and vulnerable -to quote Brene Brown “vulnerability is the birthplace of innovation, creativity and change”
