Janine is passionate about connecting with people and exploring what is meaningful to them. Combining genuine care and compassion with specialised training and broad life experience, Janine creates a safe and supportive space for clients to share the struggles and challenges that life brings. Janine is trained in a variety of counselling methods and will tailor each session to the unique needs of the individual using an integrated approach. These techniques may include: Narrative therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Existential and Person-centred approaches. Janine works from a Trauma-informed perspective and has incorporated the use of Brainspotting and EMDR into her work with clients recovering from trauma. She provides affirmative care for culturally and gender-diverse clients. Telehealth via video platform available by appointment. Medicare rebates available with a GP Allied Health Plan.
