John Dallimore, is an experienced counsellor, psychotherapist with degrees in Counselling and Applied Psychology. He has undertaken training in family therapy and is a graduate of the Hakomi mind/body method of psychotherapy.
BringIng an eclectic method to his work he shapes his therapy to match client’s needs. John believes in an holistic approach.
John’s experience in agency and private practice settings includes working with individual’s couples and families. He has demonstrated a sensitives and adaptable and imaginative approach assisting clients cope with the full range of life challenges and change. Whilst the bulk of his work occurs in his comfortable Fremantle counselling rooms, he has shown he is at home working in a park, a classroom, a prison, around the kitchen table, in a hospital room, or as a FIFO counsellor in Port Hedland, sitting in a Pilbara riverbed or on a mine site or across the world on Skype.
This work is John’s passion. He brings his own lifetime experience of adapting to change and searching for meaning, to his practice.
