Kim Bertwistle – Counsellor and Supervisor

While transitioning through the different seasons of life, we often find ourselves navigating unfamiliar and difficult situations, this is where counselling can help. Over many years, it has been my privilege to work alongside people in their most challenging times, building genuine connections and creating a safe and supportive counselling space.  My approach is client-led, values-driven, encompassed by an empathetic style, that makes room for a safe therapeutic space. I am dedicated to promoting growth, resilience, positive outcomes and walking the journey with each individual to reach their own personal goals.

The counselling environment is a place where you can explore your thoughts and feelings and openly discuss your concerns. Together, we will find the strategies and practical tools suited to you and your life circumstances and discover what wholeness and wellness look like for you. 

I am available to provide individual counselling as well as professional supervision to student counsellors, and ACA Level 1 & 2 counsellors. 

Qualifications:- 

Master of Counselling, B Ministry, Grad Dip Coun, Cert IV TAE, Cert Youth Min. Rise Up Supervision training.
