As a Qualified (MCouns) and Registered Counsellor (M.A.C.A Level 2), I support clients with a variety of challenges and concerns including anxiety, depression, stress, overwhelm, coping, addiction, relationship difficulties and conflicts, intimacy, family dynamics, grief, loss, personal distress, self-esteem, identity, social skills, emotion regulation, life transitions and more. I have a specific interest in supporting individuals, couples and families living with autism.I work with children and young people, adults, couples and families of all ages, stages, abilities, beliefs, values and orientations. So no matter your identity you will be warmly welcomed, wholly accepted, deeply heard and thoughtfully challenged as we collaborate and work together.I have an eclectic person-centred approach, meaning who you are and how you work best will inform our choice of therapy, and that we may incorporate elements of various therapies into our work together including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapies, Creative Therapies, Play Therapy, Talk Therapy and Psychoeducation. I am also accredited in a spiritual therapy called Psych-k for those who wish to incorporate their spiritual values into our work together. If this is your first time seeing a counsellor, you might feel a little unsure or nervous about how it all works. That’s completely normal. Let me assure you that we can spend as much time as you need settling in, building rapport and trust before we go any further. Alternatively if you prefer to launch straight in we can do that too! You can be confident that I am here for you and together we will work at a pace and with a therapy that works for you. Please Note: As well as Private Fee sessions I support NDIS clients. My services fall under the category of Improved daily living skills: 15_043_0128_1_3: Individual Counselling. I have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module and am committed to upholding the NDIS Code of Conduct.
