She is a past Board member of the Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapy Association (ANZACATA) and previous President of the Australian Creative Arts Therapies Association (ACATA) with over 18 years experience using art mediums and creative processes to work with adults, teens and children to reduce anxiety, depression, behavioural issues, trauma symptoms and relationship challenges. Nyrelle's approach is person-centred, attachment focussed and trauma-informed.Nyrelle specialises in working in the areas of disability, complex needs, mental health, trauma & attachment.After starting a private practice 18 years ago, Nyrelle has learnt from trial and error how to pivot and grow a successful private practice into a 6-figure business. She operates and owns Evolution Creative Art Therapies in Melbourne's west; a clinic specialising in providing 1:1 and group creative arts therapies for children, teens, adults. Evolution Creative Arts Therapies also delivers specific programs using creativity, drama and the arts in primary and secondary school settings to foster emotional and emotional expression and awareness. Nyrelle provides 1:1 and group supervision and/or training for new graduate Counsellors or Counsellors who want to transition into private practice easily and with confidence.
