I am a compassionate Clinical Counsellor, fluent in both English and Vietnamese (native). With a background of over 13 years as a psychologist, counsellor, and psychotherapist in Vietnam. Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of working with diverse clients, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families from various cultural backgrounds.My expertise spans a broad spectrum of settings, ranging from public mental health and schools to general hospitals, psychological counselling centres, psychotherapy centres, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services, private practice, psycho-oncology, palliative care, and hospice care.As a skilled Clinical Counsellor, I am handling a wide range of difficulties and challenges, such as loss and grief, troubled relationships, depression, anxiety, panic disorder, stress, life dissatisfaction, life crises, trauma, self-esteem concerns, insomnia, work stress, self-harm and suicide, and more. Beyond my professional pursuits, I have dedicated over a decade to volunteer work in Vietnam, providing psychological counselling and support to women, children, and other vulnerable individuals, as well as those facing chronic diseases, oncology, palliative care, and end-of-life situations.My counselling approach is rooted in client centred care, evidence-based, and holistic practices. I tailor my techniques to individual needs, drawing from cognitive-behavioural therapy, cognitive remediation therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, emotionally focused therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, family system therapy, creative/art-based techniques, and integrative therapy. Working collaboratively with clients, I address their psychological, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs for healing and growth.As a Counsellor, my mission is to provide comprehensive support to individuals facing various challenges. I create a safe and nurturing space for each person to explore their emotions and experiences, fostering profound healing and transformative growth. My ultimate goal is to empower individuals to navigate life's challenges with inner strength and resilience, paving the way for a more fulfilling life journey.
