Ruth is a registered clinical counsellor and ACA accredited supervisor offering online counselling services to clients, and professional supervision to emerging and qualified counsellors.As a counsellor, Ruth draws on many years of experience of working with individuals who present with a broad range of mental health issues and life stressors, substance misuse, grief and loss, relationships, life transitions, and many other concerns. Offering a professional, empathetic, and compassionate counselling space, Ruth aims to empower and support clients to explore issues that are holding them back from fully enjoying life. Sometimes we get stuck in life, and it can be helpful to work through challenges and issues with a counsellor to identify areas that need extra support, and work towards making positive changes.As an ACA accredited supervisor, Ruth brings a wealth of experience in providing clinical supervision to students, and emerging and experienced practitioners, in a wide range of sectors including: general practice; private practice; youth services; mental health; alcohol and other drugs; remote/rural practices; and schools. Ruth aims to make supervision an enjoyable, engaging, and supportive opportunity to develop skills, knowledge, resources, and personal growth.Ruth is registered with the ACA as a Level 4 member, and a fully trained and accredited supervisor. Ruth is also a Clinical Registrant with PACFA, a member of the College of Counselling, and a member of ARCAP.All appointments are conducted online to minimise disruption to your schedule.
