Simone is a qualified and experienced Counsellor and Supervisor, specialising in Grief and Loss, Trauma, Abuse (including Psychological Abuse), Anxiety and End of Life Counselling.  SImone is qualified to Supervise ACA Provisional, Level 1 and Level 2 Counsellors.  After an extensive career working with adolescents in the Education sector, I found that the major challenges being faced by families and young people were often concerned with adapting to and managing situations involving grief and loss, trauma, and abuse, which could often cause anxiety and depression. This led me on an incredible journey studying the emotional, physical and psychological impact of grief, trauma and abuse and the impact of what happens when life doesn't go as expected. I finished my Counselling studies in 2013. I operate my own Counselling practice, One More Day Counselling, volunteer my time assisting with Grief Line, and teach the Diploma of Counselling at the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors.I work with adults and adolescents (Aged 12+) via face-to-face, Telehealth or by phone counselling sessions. I accept clients from all over Australia and Internationally. I work flexible, extended hours Monday - Saturday to allow access to my services.
