Terence has a passion for supporting people to positively approach and successfully manage change and achieve their goals. Terence brings this passion and extensive experience to coaching and mentoring people with complex and challenging needs and identifying and coordinating intensive supports. Terence tries to do a lot of listening and not too much talking and look at what works and doesn’t work and help problem solve and look at new ways of doing things.. Terence applied his 25 years of accumulated on-the-job learning to formal study and achieved a Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology) in 2016 and shows that you really can teach an old dog new tricks! Terence is a member of the Australian Counselling Association and has trained in Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Therapy (RET) but fundamentally seeks to support people to work towards their goals for change.
