The purpose of the Suicide Prevention Summit is to equip mental health professionals with the latest clinical and lived experience knowledge and tools to support clients at risk of suicide.

Key Learning Objectives / Outcomes:

The Suicide Prevention Summit will be delivered via live webinar sessions during May 24-26, 2024. Sessions will be available on-demand (i.e., you can watch recordings) until July 21.Topics include substance abuse, safety and resilience, young men and suicide, lived experience and peer work, moral injury, zero suicide, relationship distress, suicide prevention in schools, and much more.OPD Points: ACA members can accrue up to 10 OPD points by attending the Summit. A minimum of 2 online sessions must be attended/watched to accrue 10 OPD points (attendance in a single session will accrue 5 OPD points).
