One of the most significant roles a person chooses is to support a child (short person) to become an adult (tall person)… the question is: What type of adults are we raising? All short people are soon to become tall people who will be living in society in some capacity. Each person has their own unique potential influenced by varying factors.Our role is to make our role redundant, meaning we are here to raise adults who don’t need us; albeit may still want to be with us.Do we want to raise adults to become:Dependent or INDEPENDENTIrresponsible or RESPONSIBLE}Anxious or FEELING EQUIPPED FOR LIFEThe reality is, supporting children to become adults can be a difficult job and requires a great deal of skill. Typically the skills we have are based on those we have observed from other people such as our own parents, teachers, colleagues, friends etc.This course will support those who are influencing a child’s development into adulthood, to support them to become independent, responsible and joy-full human beings!
