Candyce has been a registered counsellor
and psychotherapist since 2019.
Candyce adopts a person-centred, holistic,
inclusive and relational approach, acknowledging a complex interplay of
biopsychosocial factors are often associated with experiences of distress or
wellbeing.
Candyce’s approach to counselling is guided
by relevant qualifications, including a Master of Counselling, a Graduate
Certificate of Addictive Behaviours, a Bachelor of Counselling and
Psychotherapy, and an Advanced Diploma of Transpersonal Counselling. Candyce additionally
seeks out and attends various courses, seminars and other trainings to ensure professional
development in areas relevant to counselling and psychotherapy field of
practice.
Candyce is inspired by the human potential
of overcoming adversity, or perhaps at best coming to a place of greater
acceptance. Some areas she has worked with include, anxiety, depression, grief
and loss, motivation, trauma, relationships, study and work-related concerns, self-discovery,
and even exploration of dreams amongst others.
