Cat Ko (AThR) is an emerging art therapist with a deep curiosity about the process of collective healing and becoming. Through community workshops, creative wellbeing sessions, and school-based art therapy practice on Gadigal Land and Hong Kong, their training has shown them the power of making art with each other. Drawing from their interest in comics and zine-making, Cat is currently investigating how these intimate forms of visual arts and storytelling can be incorporated into their therapeutic practice as an empowering way of rewriting our lives and ourselves.

Working within the delicate intersections of culture, community, and queerness, Cat seeks to deepen and expand our understandings of family and belonging, weaving networks of care that transcend traditional definitions. Their dream is to co-create spaces where art becomes gentle bridges between our hearts, where diverse forms of love, resiliency, and support can flourish, nurturing a world where our stories can be cradled with tenderness.
