Hi, I’m Chelsea, the founder of Little Lights. I’m a registered Child and Adolescent Counsellor with a passion for supporting young people facing complex challenges. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and tailored to each child’s unique needs, helping them build resilience and confidence in a safe and supportive space.
With a Bachelor of Psychological Science, Diploma of Counselling, and ongoing studies of Social Work, I bring extensive experience in child and adolescent mental health, complex behaviours, disability support needs, and complex case management. Over the past six years in child and adolescent welfare and well being—including five years in the out-of-home care sector—I have worked closely with vulnerable children and youth experiencing trauma, mental health challenges, and neurodiverse needs.
My background also includes roles as a Counsellor, Youth Worker, Group Therapy Facilitator, and Case Manager. I have provided individual and group therapies, behaviour support interventions, and NDIS-funded services, helping young people develop emotional regulation, life skills, and positive coping strategies.
At Little Lights, my mission is to empower children, adolescents, and their families with the tools and support they need to thrive. I believe in a holistic, person-centered approach, working collaboratively with families, schools, and support networks to create lasting positive change.
If you’re looking for compassionate, experienced support for your child, I’d love to help. Let’s work together to brighten their future.
