Donia brings many years of counselling experience working in schools, agencies, and private practice, supporting adults and children with the latest therapeutic approaches.
Donia is committed to offering trauma-informed care and providing a safe and supportive environment where healing and empowerment can happen. She has training in supporting neurodiverse clients, embracing their unique strengths, and tailoring her approach to meet their needs with compassion and understanding.
Donia has a deep passion for walking alongside her clients, helping them rediscover hope, rebuild a sense of identity, nurture relationships with themselves and others, and create a more meaningful life.
Donia integrates evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy to help gently explore and reshape unhelpful thought patterns, ACT to encourage a more flexible and values-driven way of living, and solution-focused therapy to draw on strengths and envision hopeful possibilities. She also offers EFT (tapping) amongst other counselling modalities.
Her empathetic approach encourages self-awareness, emotional insight, and reconnection with one's authentic self.
