ACA Counsellor (Level 4) and Supervisor.
As a therapist and supervisor I work with integrity, respect, non-judgement, and curiosity about who you really are. For me, trust and safety are essential dynamics of the therapy space.
As a Therapist: I integrate a range of therapeutic skills and techniques to support your growth and development. My aim is to help promote agency in your life, supporting you to find your way through life’s challenges with self-awareness, trust in yourself and preparedness to make change.
As a Supervisor: my work is grounded in respect, safety and compassion, and follows the Codes of Ethics and Practice of both my organisation and yours. The purpose is to support you to work reflectively and ethically, while growing as a professional. By recognising your unique strengths, experiences, and learning style, supervision promotes greater self-awareness and the ongoing development of your clinical practice.
About Me: I became involved in the Mental Health arena because of my own personal experience with suicide bereavement, historical and current trauma, grief and loss, parenting and relationship challenges. I have always been curious about life, human development and the human condition. I believe that to flourish, we need to develop a deep understanding of ourselves, our behaviours, our history, our relationships, and our mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
