I am an Integrative Practitioner (Counsellor / Psychotherapist) who works with children, adolescents / teenagers and young adults (aged between 8 to 21 years old). I work with those who are, for various reasons, having a hard time, they may be struggling with relationships, anxiety, depressive feelings or other difficulties. I have more than 25years experience working with children and young people (youth) with complex or traumatic histories or are considered at risk, vulnerable or reluctant to accessing support.
I provide a safe and supportive environment that encourages children and young people (youth) to explore, discover, and understand their circumstances and responses more. I use a creative, engaging and sometimes playful approach that generates curiosity and builds rapport. My sessions are flexible and designed to suit the needs of the individual.
I believe that everyone has the capacity and desire for personal growth, to live a life that is meaningful and fulfilling, to connect with others and to reach their full potential. I believe that sometimes children and young people (youth) need support to find their spark, build on their strengths and build hope for their future.
